By 'processing', I mean passing the artwork through a series of Photoshop filters (e.g. watercolour). I painted the artwork with a certain kind of lighting so that after applying the filters, the colours I painted would be fused in a manner which I desired. Random grain or 'noise' was introduced to create a textured look:

After processing. After the processing is completed, I applied the film credits onto the artwork. A white border was applied to further enhance the 'old-fashioned' look. And the poster is completed:
